Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza in Austin?

Okay, I've tried Mangia and love their thin crust, but the deep dish (stuffed?) doesn't suit my tastes. There seem to be a number of "NY" style pizzas around, but not so many Chicago style. Anyone know of any?

Puffy Tacos in Austin?

I think Vivo's puffy tacos are outstanding. Slightly greasy and usually hot as a pistol. Put a few forkfulls of their smoky salsa on top and enjoy. I really like the atmosphere in Vivo with the exception of when they have that damn DJ in the bar. I think the nudes are great and a fun conversation starter. Great patio too!

El Chilito is wonderful too, I probably eat their 5x more often than Vivo and 20x more often than El Chile. It's just an awesome little place to get a quick bite and I'm lucky enough to live a block away. El Chile is good, just too small, no bar (though they do serve alcohol) and it can be really noisy.

Best Margaritas in Austin--on the rocks with salt

Maudie's if you order them with Don Julio Silver and Cointreau. Chuy's mexmarts.
I personally think the rita's at Guerro's are the worst in town, but some people swear by them. My god they are so freaking tart my head wants to explode. Vivo can be good, depending on who's pouring, so can El Chile.
A good rita is just a very personal thing.

BBQ-THE REAL DEAL?

I'll second the recommends for Iron Works. BTW, how expensive can BBQ be anyway? I've eaten here a ton of times and it's never seemed out of line. If you want to be CHEAP about your Q, go to Bill Miller (YECH). I'm not a huge fan of Kruez as I'm a sauce kind of guy. Buster's out by the lake has the best pulled pork I've ever had in town. Went to Ben's Longbranch once, thought it was poor and haven't been back. Salt Lick is one of my fav's and I do love Rudy's too.

What's the deal with Guero's?

How this place stays in business is amazing to me. The fact that it's usually overflowing with people is even more amazing. The margaritas are hands down my least favorite in town. They're so tart (acidic) they'll take the enamel right off your teeth. That said, it's my girlfriend's favorite margaritas. Go figure. About the only place we can agree has awesome ritas (and even then it depends on who's pouring) is Maudie's. Get one with Don Julio silver and Cointreau and if it's a good strong pour, there is nothing better in my NSHO.
Just for the record, I LIKE interior Mexican dishes. But this place just leaves me flat.
