We went to Soulshine- had a reservation for 20 at 8Pm- we didn't get there until 9- I called to let them know- we had excellent service and pizzas came out quickly- we had our own waiter and were in and out in an hour... all parties gave it a thumbs UP!!

thx- we r heading over for a baseball toruney tomorrow and it's going to be so cold- we are probably going to Soulshine on lakeland b/c it's close to hotel..

anyne been to either of these restaurants- we are going next weekend and a friend in Jackson recommended them- reviews look good for both.....

I would think most places would be closed that night- Dyron's is a good choice too and Ollie Irene in mt Brook but not sure if they are open... Ruths Chris should eb open since it is in embassy Suites- great steaks~~

the Summit is now having a market on Saturdays also- I guess it is near Urban Cookhouse....I prefer pepper place b/c i only get a few things but there is alot of stuff there... I wonder if people really buy the jewlery and artsy stuff-i go for the tomatoes corn and fruit....

Well the weather wasn't too hot so plans to Soulshine were nixed- we ended up at El Portrillo on TH night and Corner Market Deli for lunch-Friday-just ok- Ruby Tuesday- gag!- on Fr night- storms moved in around 7 and 2nd game was cancelled and we had about 15 and noone wanted to drive far from hotel- I did get to Majestic Burgers on Saturday before game and it was excellent..

We play at Brandon, Pearl and Jackson Academy- BUT we may only be able to go out the first night b/c games are back to back at dinner time....

Heading there in a couple of weeks- staying in Flowood - going for HS baseball tourney- will be at 3 different schools -all within 15 minutes of Flowood- nothing too fine but good food....

Moe's wings are the best.... I went to pick up pizza at Yankee last night and some guys sitting at bar said BWW had to quit taking orders for wings last night .... Yankee was almost out of wings too....Pizza was Ok- I prefer it hot out of oven and we let is sit but it was all eaten-no problems.... AND Bama won!!!!

I picked up wings Friday night at OT and they were very good.. I just looked at Mafiaozo's- they are closed tomorrow so I now am thinking I'll get pizzas from Dave's or Yankee Pizzeria ...for the BCS party

where is the best price for "nice" pizza and best place for wings besided Buffalo Wild wings- looking to have for BCS game - called BWW and 100 wings are $75.... Daughter goes to BSC and they go to Kings Wings and reviews are good but too far out of way since I live in Crestline but they said it was $30 for 100 wings- HMMMM....

I went to Taco Mama yesterday- (same owners as otey's) very good but pricey
didn't ask them but heard from another owner that they heard Moe's was moving into Fire's space

also went to Mafiaozo's recently it was SO packed -I heard they make 5M a year..

My SIL threw up for 12 hours after eating here...

I stopped by- about missed it- went inside and found the rice paper but decided I might find a recipe first and see how hard it looks to make- thanks

I really like the rolls with rice paper and the guy doing my pedicure said i needed to try and make them- where do i buy the rice paper- I doubt Publix has it or do they??? where is the best place to buy it and whatever else that goes inside the rolls???
