New Stoner Food Alert

I got a box of these a few weeks back, spotted em in the overpriced natural foods freezer, but they looked too rad to pass up. I went through the whole box in one night. Stoner food indeed.

Friendly Toast Revisited

We go to the FT in Portsmouth at least once a year, since it's tradition to stay up there for Valentine's day and it's tradition to eat breakfast at the Friendly Toast. Yeah, the service leaves something to be desired - but what do you expect with a bunch of hipsters and punk rock kids on the staff? I usually always get the New Hampshire's Finest scramble with asparagus, goat cheese, etc - and it's delicious! But this is the NH location (and I don't even know if the Cambridge location would have this option renamed on their menu?) It's unfortunate to hear that they're having so much trouble at their new location. I won't be trying the FT Cambridge. If I'm in the Cambridge area I'd rather drive 6 or 7 minutes out of my way to the Neighborhood Restaurant and Bakery in Somerville to get food that's (probably) at least 10X better for half the price.

Spiked Pineapple Agua Fresca

I would definitely do this with frozen pineapple to make a nice, chilly iced drink.

Where do I go for ice cream in Woburn?

Maybe I'm just a bit spoiled having grown up in Wakefield, where Cravings or Meletharb's were always a 2 minute drive down the street from my house but I find it strange that it's been difficult to find a good ice cream parlor in Woburn.
I recently moved to Woburn (near the 7/11 on Main) and I've been scoping out the good eateries in the area. The one thing I've found a mysterious lack of is a good local ice cream shop. Is it common for a downtown Main St to be lacking ice cream? I've been going to 7/11 for pints of Ben & Jerry's to hold me over, but please! I'm an ice cream addict and I need my fix...

Let's Talk About Woburn

Bahamas Grill is a couple doors down from Tudo Na Brasa on Main St and is arguably more delicious. The food is far less expensive and the dining area is polished and upscale-looking. It's your traditional Brazilian lunch fare with rice, beans, salads, and of course meats on spits. The fried bananas are quite good. I love it here for lunch!

The Best Thing I Ever Ate - moved from Boston board

Honestly? The best thing I've ever eaten had to be the boeuf bourguignon my aunt and I sweated over for hours in the kitchen, prepared meticulously, word for word, by Julia Child's cookbook. The memories of cooking it together and then enjoying it with family are just about as unforgettable as the amazing taste of the most delicious dish I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying.

Where to Find Best Asian Soups?

Pho #1 in Woburn on Main St (right across from the Lanna Thai Diner cart) was absolutely delicious and the prices can't be beaten.

I hear that Green Basil, also on Main St. in Woburn, is supposed to be good as well.

Pho is so delicious, yum!
