One of my Korean friends bought in a packet of liquid citron tea, all I had to do was add hot water. Does anyone know where I can buy this or where any good Korean grocery stores are downtown?

I have a women's social group and we tend to do a bi-monthly mid-week cocktail hour (after work drinks). Can you suggest some places that may offer a drink special like discounted martinis, mojitos etc. Our group is quite varied age range mid twenties to mid thirties. We have been to Hey Lucy's and Insomnia but I'd like to mix it up and try other places, preferably Downtown Toronto or somewhere TTC accessible.

Roti Palace at Bathurst/Bloor is pretty good, one of the better roti places in Toronto.

Bhara Hut is Mississauga is good but be prepared to wait a long time.

Island Foods has to be the worst Caribbean food out there. There curries are watery and their service is very lacking. It is no wonder they shut down the one in The Grange, you had to wait almost half an hour for those slow pokes.
