STACKED - Torrance - New South Bay Restaurant Review my friend and i tried it for lunch last week. it took forever to order on the Ipad but there were enough servers walking around that we could signal one for help anytime. i had a custom pizza. it was a bit dry but delicious. my friend had a custom burger and criss cut fries. the food came out fast but i think a lot of time is wasted with the ordering process. our server said that the larger the party, the slower the ordering process takes because each person has to place their order in the Ipad and take the time to go over each choice. it wasn't busy when we got there but i can imagine how long the wait must be when they are. it just doesn't seem like the tables turn over very fast. i would go back again but definitely during the off hours. |

Stacked - Comments on ordering ? my friend and i were going to eat there today. we were checking out the reviews online when we ran into the blurb about swiping the credit card. we didn't want to do that either so we just decided not to go. i have to agree that this element with the ordering is a big turn off and i suspect a lot of people will be surprised or unhappy with it too. |

Know of any places to eat off the 405 fwy - near Long Beach or Seal Beach? EJ Malloys Bar and Grille is not too far from the Factory. Good eats there too. |

my local asian markets always have them. 99 ranch market and seafood city are the larger chain markets but even the smaller markets have them. |

Where can I find SESAME BALLS in WLA?! if you can't find one in west l.a., take a short trip to the south bay, right off the 110 fwy and carson st. to Hong Kong Bakery. they have awesome sesame balls with a great bean filling. they some other dim sum-ish treats too. |

Whole Roast Pig from Chinatown? have you considered getting a whole roast pig from a Filipino restaurant? there are many in and around Cerritos and Carson that offer great roast pig. Manila Lechon in Carson and Hong Kong Bakery down the street in Torrance are two such places. Their prices are around $180 too. |

definitely try HACIENDA DEL REY on Lincoln Blvd near Manchester (very close to LAX). 8347 Lincoln Boulevard they have great seafood enchiladas and traditional mexican dishes. it's usually not packed on weeknights and their tortillas and handmade too. |

it was okay. the broth is light and for $12, it's not bad. too much bell peppers for my taste but the broth is good because it is so mild. i don't like it spicy so those of you that do, get ready to grab the hot sauce. |

Definitely try Tony P's in Marina Del Rey! Great outdoor seating , great view, and the breakfasts are great. |

Red Ribbon Bakery (various locations in the South Bay) has the multi-pack of the buns. Also, Hong Kong Garden Bakery in Torrance has the fresh steamed buns and Mami King (in Van Nuys and Carson) also has the buns with different fillings. |

Any Suggestions for Brunch in Camarillo? I'm having brunch with my girlfriends this Sunday and we are meeting in Camarillo. I am not familiar with the area so I don't know a good brunch place. It would be great if it was near the 101 Fwy and not too far from the Factory Outlets. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Is there some place in LA that will alter my opinion of Red Velvet Cake? definitely try the red velvet at http://www.kissmybundt.net/. the icing is to die for and the cake is moist with a slight crunch to the outside. soooo good! |

Best 7 Layer Mocha Cake...Help satisfy my insatiable craving! check out the Mocha Crunch cake from Red Ribbon Bakery. they have stores in the south bay and a new one in the Westfield Mall in Culver City. it doesn't have 7 layers but it's light and creamy. they also have regular Mocha cakes and Mocha logs. |
