I've been wanting to try this but can't find goat meat anywhere. I love Jamaican Curries. She also has a recipe for Rice & Peas on her website that would be perfect with this.

Too funny!

I made the Zuni Roast Chicken & Bread Salad

:) I also used a cast iron skillet.

My oven was also clean. I used the convection setting for the first 30 minutes. I just got a brand new convection oven and this was the first meal I made in it. That's why I was distraught that the inside of the oven was such a disaster.

I made the Zuni Roast Chicken & Bread Salad

It was fantastic! Hands down, the best roast chicken I ever had. I have just one complaint. The inside of my brand new oven was completely covered in a layer of chicken grease. Disgusting! I ran the self clean cycle on it. Looks good as new. Is there anyway in the future to prevent that mess? I'd make this once a week if it wasn't for the mess.

I have Turkey Thighs

Maybe I should mention. I have a gas grill. I also have a convection oven. And I have a pretty well stocked spice cabinet. I also have fresh rosemary, chives and flat leaf Italian parsley in the garden.

I have Turkey Thighs

I picked up some Turkey Thighs at the grocery store for cheap. Now what? I was thinking maybe an Asian Marinade utilizing Tamari, sesame oil, scallions, garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes....OR....

I dunno....

I'd be eternally grateful for your ideas. Thanks in advance.

Ooooh...This sounds great! I have chicken legs in the freezer. I've been trying to decide what to do with them.

Beach Food

Thanks! I'll check it out.

Beach Food

Good idea. This is what I bring when we're invited over to a friends house for pizza. You wouldn't believe how much people go crazy over a good antipasto platter.

I can use paper plates and plastic utensils. I'd just rather avoid carting home dirty dishes if possible. I

Recipes You've Never Heard of Outside Your Family

My grandfather made us Cream of Wheat topped with butter and parmesean cheese before he sent us off to school in the morning. I've never heard of anyone else eating this. I still get a craving for it sometimes.

Beach Food

Sunday evenings, DH and I usually head to the beach with friends and their families. Sometimes there are up to 40 in our group. We all try to bring snacks and beverages to share. Typically I bring fresh fruit and cheese & crackers and a bottle of white wine, usually Guwertz. I'm looking for some new ideas. A lot of people bring chips, cupcakes, and other junk food. I'd prefer to steer clear of junk food if possible.
