The best pizza anyplace between King of Prussia and Pottstown?

Franzone's is much too sweet. We tried it once & just couldn't eat it. It's not for everyone.

Breakfast, brunch, coffee in Exton to King of Prussia area?

Just looked them up & here I stopped in this place for directions a long time ago b/c I was lost, & the kind sir, whom I can now only assume was Andy, helped me find proper directions using his laptop. That alone should've been enough to entice me to return & give them my business. Plan on checking it out this weekend. Thanks.

I never tried the Classic Diner I suppose b/c of the 'Diner' part in the name, but given the reviews in this thread & others, I must put it on my list. Not a snob (nor can I afford to be one), but usually looking for independently owned & unique places in the 'burbs, so whenever I saw 'Diner' I just crossed it off my list or said we'd try it another time.

Ordered my first eggs benedict from Nudy's in Phoenixville the other weekend for brunch. Enjoyed both the place & the brunch.

I've lived in KOP for 6 years & have never heard of the Hut. Where is this place of which you speak? KOP is chalk full of chains, so we usually go to the surrounding areas, but would enjoy trying a new place in KOP...when a greasy spoon is in order, of course.

We live in KOP & haven't noticed a change in ownership. Everything still seems the same. Personally we aren't fans of the food, but I know most locals rave about it

Reataurants along 202 corridor b/t KOP & West Chester - Suggestions Needed!

Thanks for the tips, Budkethead & Cindy. Depending upon where they are staying, the West Chester suggestions (leaning toward Teca) may work. Even if we don't make it to any of the above recommendations tomorrow, these are great suggestions that I'll add to my daughter (12) & my list of places to check out, as we enjoy trying new places. All the recommendations look fabulous, & living in KOP we're surrounded by nothing but chains. Ugh. Thanks, both!

Reataurants along 202 corridor b/t KOP & West Chester - Suggestions Needed!

Friends of ours on a cross country trip are doing the Philly tourist stuff tomorrow & then are staying in West Chester. We live in King of Prussia. I'm trying to think of decent, but not pricey, places to meet for dinner. Maggiano's in KOP is the only thing I could think of. Any other suggestions along 202 South? Something that's easily accessible for out-of-towners to just hop off & back on 202 would be ideal. Thanks in advance!

Restaurant Near Fluid Nightclub

Thanks, Bucket & tbl42...our primary concerns are parking & a location where those of us who do have children (all >10) can bring our kids as well. I'll research your suggests. Truly appreciate the feedback!

Decent Breakfast/Brunch in KOP

pamd - Thanks! We've been to Columbia & Black Lab for dinner, but I didn't realize they did brunch as well. Never occurred to me PJ Ryans might. Becca's, I've come across on here, but haven't tried it. I googled for a while for decent brunches in KOP, but with minimal results. I appreciate everyone's input! My daughter & I love trying new places, but aside from traveling to Trevose for work, we don't get out of the area much, so thank goodness for chowhound to clue me in once-in-a-while

Decent Breakfast/Brunch in KOP

Sounds great, gaffk! I will add it to our list. I don't mind a little drive. Things get old around here very quickly, although I'm grateful to live in the area. My problem is I'm not quite up to city driving, so trying to find new, enjoyable places in the 'burbs (that don't cost a fortune, since we like to dine out frequently) can be trying.

Decent Breakfast/Brunch in KOP

Thanks, RSR. I drive by there all the time, but I couldn't tell if it was more of a pub, and being a single mom, I generally have my 11 yr old daughter as my cohort. We've worn out everywhere in KOP for dinner, so we'll likely give Winberie's a try for dinner & brunch!

Restaurant Near Fluid Nightclub

Will be meeting up with some friends I haven't seen in forever for dinner. Afterwords, they'll be heading to Fluid to relive the '80's retro scene, & while I cannot join them at the club, we are looking for some nearby places to dine beforehand. My 11 yr old may be tagging along. Suggestions? I'm out of the scene & don't know how to navigate the city very well. Thanks!

Decent Breakfast/Brunch in KOP

Anybody??? Or are the pickings that slim in KOP? Would just like to find a decent place where we could take out of town guests for a Saturday/Sunday brunch. Thanks!

Philly and burbs - best kids menus?

Christopher's in Wayne comes to mind. But pricey (considering it's not upscale). You pay for everything, meaning the kids meals do not come with sides, it's all a la carte.

Why is there such a lack of great (or even good) restaurants in the 'burbs?

KOP is unique as far as Indian selecitons in the burbs because of the large Indian population. We live in KOP and there must be at least 5 w/in say a 3-4 mile radius. That said, the area is still overwhelmingly 'chain' oriented.

Decent Breakfast/Brunch in KOP

We live in the land of chain restaurants, and it's nearly impossible to find a decent breakfast or brunch nearby. There's an overpriced so-so option at Ruby's at the mall, and a less than impressive offering from neighboring Maggiano's. Not looking for anything fancy, but something enjoyable, relaxing, of good quality & worth my hard-earned $. Any suggestions?

Mother's Day Brunch BUFFET near Malvern

What is Winberies? I drive by it all the time, but wasn't sure what it was like: atmosphere, cuisine, etc. I too am contemplating doing a brunch on Mother's Day...treating myself & my daughter. I thought the Desmond Hotel looked like a possibility. Have you tried the Trattoria San Nicola in Paoli?

Cooking Lessons for Myself & Daughter near KOP area

I've never heard of it...my 'googling' skills are somewhat lacking. Thanks so much for the tip - I knew there had to be something like this out there! Thanks again - we will definitely be checking it out in the near future!

Cooking Lessons for Myself & Daughter near KOP area

Now that my daughter is 11, and is developing her interest in cooking, I'd love to find a weekly cooking class locally that we could take together, but I haven't had much luck with my search. Most are limited to just adults, and I'm looking for something I could do & enjoy together with my child. We live in King of Prussia. Does anyone have suggestions for such classes within a reasonable distance of KOP? Thanks!
