The Cookery in Dobbs Ferry

I went with 5 other women for a Tuesday evening restaurant week dinner. We all found our experience very lacking. The bread was stale and cold. I ordered the blood orange salad and it was all green with barely one section of an orange cut up into 3 little pieces. Fish dish was very small - it was to be served over brocolli rabe. The brocolli rabe portion was so small that 2 of the women failed to notice that it was even part of their meal. Service was slow and inattentive. Do not know if this is usual portions/service or just due to Restaurant Week offerings (though menu does not indicte a mere tastings). I eat out often and have gone to many restaurants in Westchester and NYC during restaurant week, and this is the first totally negative experience. Would certainly not go back.
