Cheap, good lunches in Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Vernon Hills, et al.?

I went to the new superdawg and tried their basic hotdog meal. It wasn't very good and slightly overpriced at a little over 5 dollars. But their square ice cream cones are great.

Pita Inn is one of my favorites and their lunch special is definetley something you must try out.

For Thai food Tasty Thai off of Townline right next to the mall is not bad, they have a VERY small lunch buffet for a little over $7 and right next to there is Saffron for Indian food. They also have a buffet which is pretty small, but the chicken is delicious.

A chinese buffet I like is Mongoleon Buffet at the corner of Lake Cook and Il-83. Their lunch buffet is priced at right around $8 and their selection is pretty good. They have a make your own stirfry section, a very small selection of sushi and lots of hot dishes. Best chinese buffet I have had.
For another chinese restaraunt, Dragon Star on East Hawley street in Mundelein is really good with great lunch specials and dinner specials too. Its a family owned busniess and really small, two or three tables for sit down, but the food is good and well priced.
