1999, Jean-Georges, NY, young garlic soup with sauteed frog legs, scallops and cauliflower in caper-raisin sauce, boneless lamb with mushroom crust and leek puree. To die for.

A difficult decision to make, I pick one in each of my favourite cities: In New York I love all Danny Meyer places except The Modern. Toro in Boston, Foreign Cinema in SFO, Five Flies in Capetown, Commerc 24 in BCN..
