Dinner with old friends before wedding Thanks so much for directing me to the thread. I am down to 3 possibilities : Coda, Brasserie Jo and Petit Robert Bistro. Any thoughts or experiences? |

Dinner with old friends before wedding My husband and I are going to Boston for the wedding of a friend's daughter. We will be staying at the Marriott Copley Square with several college friends. We need a place for dinner not too far from the hotel where the food is good , not exorbitantly expensive and we will be able to hear each other talk. We like pretty much any cuisine. Any good ideas? It will be a Friday night, of Memorial Day weekend. So I want to make reservations ASAP if I need to. |

Meeting for dinner between Santa Barbara and LA with old friends. Ideas? Our friend from LA now wants to meet at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley. It really looks like a gastronomic wasteland there- only chain type places. Does anyone know anything NOT plastic in that neck of the woods? All your suggestions look so much better than what I found! |

Meeting for dinner between Santa Barbara and LA with old friends. Ideas? We are staying Santa Barbara where some friends who live in San Francisco will meet us. We plan to meet some friends from LA somewhere in between Santa Barbara and La for dinner. The couple from SF will just be coming off a 3 week cleanse and don't wont anything too heavy. The rest of us are up for anything. Anyone have suggestions? |

Am planning a trip to Williamsburg, Va. Any recommendations, besides the taverns on the Colonial Williamsburg site? |

London Birthday Dinner for College student abroad My husband and I are visiting our son in London in April and want a place to celebrate his 21st birthday. We will be in Chelsea and he is in Islington, but we can meet anywhere. I am inclined toward more traditional cuisines, i.e. French , Italian, Indian, Mediterranean , rather than anything too experimental because he is unlikely to try anything he hasn't heard of! I am looking for someplace fun , not old fashioned or stodgy. Any ideas? |
