Help us decide on trip
OK...I will try to explain a little more. They all involve cooking lessons. LA. Experience is for sale and their place is called House on the Bayou. It seems nice but high in price for a short visit and no extras. Their house is beauitful but not in FQ so we would need a car. New Orleans Cooking School...I hear is great but they only offer classes no hotel etc.. Cook New Orleans is all inclusive with cooking lessons at NOSchool of Cooking as well as another place. They also offer trios to resturants, tours and hotel all for one price. I think they are pretty new so I am not sure but their web site is beauitful and they were really helpful on the phone??? I like the idea of cooking and eating so...I was wondering if anyone had been to either or all of these???
Help us decide on trip
We are planning a trip to New Orleans and have perused the web sites, etc. We have decided on a culinary tour and need help to decide. We are first timers so be gentle...
La Experience sounds good but $$ for what you get and I read they were for sale??? , Cook New Orleans is somewhat new but seems to offer alot??, NO school of cooking sounds great but only offers classes no hotel etc. We want to stay 4-5 days so we want a good over view of French Quarter and do not plan on renting a car...Please help us out if anyone has been on these and have recommendations.
New Orleans Cooking School
I am happy to hear someone writing an article about this...I am planning a trip and want to include cooking (ofcourse, it is New Orleans!) and have heard of 3 and can not decide? NO Cooking Experience seems high cost, NO School of Cooking I just do not know and a new one called Cook New Orleans...I have no idea???
I have been watching and looking for post and took some advice and just peruse the "chow" for ideas...Still planning and leaning towards Cook New Orleans...I'll let everyone know when I decide!
