Best restaurant in Buenos Aires- La Cabrera We went to La Vineria de Gualterio Bolivar and the chef may have "trained" with Ferran Adria, but do not expect anything to that level. You can't compare them at all. |

Six of us ate at La vinería de Gualterio Bolívar. I have to say, we were not impressed. Considering it is extremely expensive for BA, over all it was very disappointing. i'd save your money & got to brunch at the Alvear instead. It's all gimmick & no substance. We were not the only ones who were not impressed. When we were leaving another group of four were discussing their disappointment. Maybe they were having an off day. |

No so much good fish down here except for the ceviche. They are excellent Peruvian restaurants with excellent ceviche. I was going to suggest Dora. It's a Spanish restaurant and one of the few to get well cooked, tasty, simple grilled fish, Crizia is listed on the website recommended by Ric. Crizia is generally very good, but they do have their off days. I've never order the fish main. But I have had excellent oysters and shrimp appetizers. All excellent. Both are upscale/expensive. For a more low key evening, try Solo Pescado in Abasto. |
