Offal/Extreme Cuisine in DFW Area?

This isn't super exciting and may be old news, but I hit Teppo on Lower Greenville several months ago and had a delicious mini kabob of grilled, marinated beef tongue. I need to go back for more.

Where to find rabbit in DFW

Fiesta on Ross and also the one on South Buckner both have rabbit in the freezer bins. There are usually interesting goodies in the freezers of the Fiesta on Garland Road and Jupiter, too. I buy them regularly to make Paella.

Jimmy's Market

Get the WeMe Bread Pan de Pueblo at Jimmy's. It's really dense, gorgeous crust. The gal who bakes it delivers Thursday afternoons if you want it straight from the ovens. I agree, for years I have been able to put together a nice meal from the food selection at Jimmy's, but you had to go elsewhere for decent bread.

DFW - Best Multigrain or Wholegrain Bread

Scardello carries an awesome bread now - not whole grain, but a beautiful crust and slices super thin. Not full of air which is something that bugs me about WFM and CM breads. Called WeMe Bread, and he will make you a sandwich on it if you ask. I saw it at Jimmy's in east Dallas recently, too, so they finally have some decent bread!
