Was during a 5-day canoe tip on the St. Johns River in northern Maine. Two friends and I were on the trip We ran into this group of Mainiacs who worked for Old Town and were out doing "product testing". One night, we camped on a high bank overlooking a long stretch of the river, and I whipped out some pork ribs, which I cooked over the coals of our camp fire. It came out great. The Mainiacs broke out some moose tenderloin, which their cook fried up on the griddle. Moose tenderloin and smoked pork ribs on the St. Johns
