Ate there a lot when was dating an indian guy who said that food there is the closest to the food he was used to have at home

Vice Versa

I love Vice Versa. Took my very unadventurous grandparents for lunch couple of months ago and it was great. Everybody enjoyed the food and the service. I had veal ravioli which was delicious.

Dear chows,
Need suggestions for (my) birthday lunch for this coming Monday, preferably in the Midtown.
I am taking out my 80 y/o grandparents who are not very adventurous with different cuisines, so I would like to stick with Italian or solid American. Place with nice and elegant ambiance as well.

It is too late, but I'll tell you my impression anyway. Nothing special about HQ, average place with IMHO below the average food.
