I know you specified La Saltena but you can get Goya empanada wrappers in most larger grocery stores in Park Slope.

World Cup restaurants/bars
I've been to Woodwork before and love it but unfortunately they have advised against bringing kids on the weekends, during the World Cup. They are also requiring reservations and advanced payment for weekends.
A place to have breakfast and watch the world cup on a sunday in midtown?

HELP! Madison Square Park area
Will be in Madison Square park on Friday and need restaurant suggestions in the area. Prefer Japanese and would love outdoor seating although would be interested to hear all recommendations. Dinner tonight - Barrio or Los Pollitos
Looking to enjoy possibly the last night of the season to eat outdoors and have settled on Mexican food. Which do you think serves better food, Barrio or Los Pollitos or stay away from both? Unfortunately Fonda is too far away for me to consider for a school night.
