Oh my goodness, I use mine for everything. Hummus, dips, pie crust, pizza dough, grating carrots or cheese, making my own nut butters (or nutella!), tapenade, cole slaw, basil & other herb pestos (cilantro pesto is my fave), "nut truffles", croquettes/veggie burger patties, falafels, cake batter, and sorbets. I have a stand mixer, but because I grew up with a food processor I do everything in that! You can even make whipped cream! |

Where can I find L'Anis de Flavigny candy in GTA? There's a new-ish candy store in the basement of the South Market at St. Lawrence Market. I saw them there last week. Also, there are a couple of other shops in the basement with a varying supply. ----- |

They have a great selection of veggie rolls (28 of them!) at Sushi Bar at Queen & Broadview. Most of them have something fried (often yam tempura) in them, and the 'spicy' component is a spicy mayo-like sauce. But they are seriously great, and a good fit when you are a vegetarian going with fish-eaters out to sushi. Lots of complimentary appetizers too: edamame, an amazing enoki mushroom soup, agedashi tofu. Prices are way cheaper at lunch (combos) than dinner. |

Good organic cafes in Toronto, up along Yonge Street? (or elsewhere even) I would suggest Camros Organic Eatery: http://www.camroseatery.com/ They're at the start of your run, but do organic (all vegetarian) Persian food, and my favourite place for a long, lingering lunch. |
