Help! Honeymoon in Paris
I love France. I spent my honeymoon in Bordeaux. I have to say that when in Paris, I love to stroll through the streets and find quaint places to eat by going on discovery mode. If I see a place with a menu that sounds enticing I'm in and soon.
I have always enjoyed La Coupole-02 Boulevard du Montparnasse 75014 Paris, France
01 43 20 14 20.
The first time I was there in 1989 and 21yrs old, I was amazed! I befriended the waiter and he told me all about the process of becoming a La Coupole waiter. He had to know all the wines by taste, and have worked in the kitchen for a few months and god knows what else!
I'm not sure if its still that way but I have to say the food was wonderful. I remember having the Steak Tartare and he brought out all these ingredients in little bowls and a large chunk of ground beef.
I chose what ingredients I wanted in my steak and he proceeded to cracked the egg and off he went, mixing all of my chosen elements to make the most wonderful Steak Tartare I have ever had along with a wonderful production!
Enjoy Paris, it's hard to go wrong.
Corn Meal vs Masa Harina
I grew up with my grandmother using lye to clean the corn before they took it to the molino to ground. Best tortillas are the one's right from the comal.
mexican crema vs. salvadorean crema
I'm Salvadoran and my boyfriend is Mexican. We often talk and compare the differences in ingredients. Mexican crema and Salvadoran crema are almost alike. It depends on the region. The thickness and richness varies through the regions.
I would say, you can't go wrong with either one, its a matter of finding what taste you prefer.
