In case people are still wondering whether or not Brueggers Bagels boils bagels, here's what their website says:

I ran across this thread trying to find out if Baltimore Bagels still exists in San Diego. A Jewish friend of mine from NYC explained the difference between a bagel and a "roll with a hole" (her words) about 15 years ago and suggested that I try Baltimore Bagels, which, happily, I did .

Someone on this thread pointed out that Brueggers bought Baltimore Bagels and there was some question as to whether or not they boil their bagels, so I thought I'd add the easy bit of research from Brueggers web page...
