chicken on a budget

Marinate in mustard , balsalmic and garlic for an hour. Roast for an hour with the marinade poured over at 350. Really delicious and easy.

Or brush with mustard, roll in almond meal, dot with butter, bake for an hour at 375.
I never ever eat boneless breasts, dark meat with bones has ten times the flavor.

I prefer braising to roasting for thighs in winter. Brown, add stock , wine, cider, beer or even coffee and braise .
Add different herbs, spices or veg or fruits to modify flavor profile.
I summer we marinate I oil and balsalmic, yogurt, wine , or beer and grill.
We eat one of these things weekly.

How to eat healthy as a picky adult

Do you like soup? If you have a blender, regular or stick, you can cook basically any vegetables in broth, purée them and if you want add some dairy or non dairy milk and see how you like that.

Also , buy some herbs and experiment with them. Dill, thyme , rosemary all add flavor.

I use regular noodles but instead of boiling them just soak in hot water for a couple of minutes. This works well and I like the texture better than no boil noodles.

I found no salt unusual for a ferment. I make a lot of them and they all need brine.
I like the sound of the fish soup , however the health benifits of a ferment are destroyed by heating it, unfortunately.

It does work. I do it all the time. You whack the whole bulb with your palm and the cloves come away from the stem. It is very quick and efficient. Today I was making a jar of fermented garlic and peeled 4 heads in less than a minute.
