Low residue diet
I am on this diet now for a few weeks and the only raw vegetable that I am allowed is a small amount of chopped green lettuce-so I make that my "salad".

Verrill Farm in Concord has their own grown lettuces,spinach and asparagus ! They also have strawberries from Virginia--nice to see normal sized ans sweet berries again instead of the mega sized-flavorless ones at the markets!

Family-Style dining in the North End? (Not Magianos)??
We have been to Maggianos several time for family gatherings-with people aging from two to eighty-five. We all enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere-as well as the ease of valet parking. I think it is a good place for a family meal.

Julie's place-a well known breakfast and lunch spot-has now has expanded physically by also taking over the former Daniella's Tacqueria's space and have also epanded their hours and menu to include dinners and a bar area. Has anyone tried it yet?

I did buy a gift certicate for One Hundred dollars to this restaurant and they actually called back to say with the purchase I was entitled to an extra twenty dollar gift certificate-very nice on their part as I was totally unaware of this bonus giit! Bullfinch's in Sudbury has a good menu and music during their Sunday brunch.

The children size cones and cups that we have been served lately are at least one very lagre scoop or often two scoops! The are the size of what I remember as a medium size cone. Do any chain or independent ice cream stands still sell anything really childsized?

My husband and I went for lunch! I had the Cajun ribeye sandwich with onion rings and he had the crabmeat sandwich with fries.We shared everthing- and it was all great! The fries-were like Boardwalk fries and the onion rings were largre and well done The ribeye sandwich was deicious with blue chese butter on a baguette and the crabcake sich was huge and decious made with lump crab and very little filler!The service was great-laid back but very profesional! The space is also very clean and contemperary We spent thirty-three dollars which included a soft drink and tip-plus leftovers of two half sandwiches
