16 years old now, but I'm still using Karen Barnaby's "Pacific Passions Cookbook".

Anything in Whitehorse and/or Dawson City?

Yup. Bean North. Think it burned down a while ago though, but there's a funky little coffee shop called Baked Cafe at the foot of Main Street that still sells it. Rachel's bang on re: Sanchez Cantina and Alpine Bakery. Sakura Sushi's not bad.

Stemware Vendors YVR?

It's online and in England, but maybe check out chinapresentations.net. We've been buying Waterford (and Mikasa) from them for a while. No duty, and free shipping on orders over 100 pounds. Sometimes some great deals

Vancouver towards Whitehorse in may.. food and other recommendations?

Check out the Alpine Bakery in Whitehorse - good, organic bread and produce. Baked Cafe at the foot of Main Street and The Chocolate Claim are good for lunch. There's a Thai restaurant at Marsh Lake about 1/2 hour south of Whitehorse. Can't think of the name of it offhand. Never know what the weather's going to be like from year to year. Could be fine, but taking your chances.
