Eating on Marco Island Florida

Hi All,

Me my husband and our eleven year old are heading to Marco Island at the end of March for a 2 week vacation. All 3 of us love our food and I'm interested in recommendations for good restaurants for lunch/dinner on the island, or perhaps near by. Not interested in child menus, but they need to be places where we can go with a child.

We like all kinds of food...the main criteria is that the food is home made. We would be especially interested in family run restaurants and those popular with locals. We have no price range...and we would like to hear about all types of restaurants . We do not live by the sea, so fish restaurants (especially one's sitting right on the ocean) would be good.
