I lunch at Two SIsters about once a week. My absolute favorite is their smothered chicken with extra gravy... usually comes with veggies, potato salad and corn bread. There's a set menu for each day... there's oxtails, smothered porkchops, white beans, meatloaf, etc. I've yet to be disappointed. If you are still wide awake after this meal, something is wrong with you. Good food, but definitely "sleepy" food. Don't be intimidated to go getcha some soul food here!

Cherry Berry on Manhattan Blvd in Harvey is what you're looking for. Its in a shopping center across from that new Fountain Park, out of the place looking shopping center.
Pre-theatre fixed menu? Going to Broadway show tonight...
Going to a broadway show tonight and am looking for places that have pre-theatre fixed menus-- for instance, like Ralph's on The Park's pre-theatre dinner menu is $35 for a 3 course meal... I've been to Muriel's already for their pre-theatre, but am wanting to try different places.. Any suggestions besides Ralphs and Muriel's? Any thoughts on Ralphs?

You're awesome! Thanks! I forgot about Rouses! Called them and they do make those cakes! Walmart does too! I'm guessing Rouses is the better, more quality place to go though?

Anyone know what store does that? Cakes with printed on top of it.. Winn Dixie in Marrero doesn't do it apparently. Trying to get my boyfriend an awesomely cheesy cake for his birthday!

I live on the Westbank... Harvey to be exact, but work in Kenner. The perfect weather is finally here and quite frankly... sometimes for a lunch treat I just want a good snocone. I moved here about six months ago and since have only tried Pandora's on Carrolton. Nothing beats a snocone with condensed milk...Delicious. Do you guys have suggestions on snocone stands in Kenner and the Westbank?

Best Sandwiches...?
Looking for suggestions of where to get really good sandwiches, whether it may be a roast beef poboy, shrimp poboy, ham sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich, or a vietnamese poboy (banh mi)... Point being...I just want to find me a good sandwich. I'm a sandwich junkie and am always looking for really good bitesin Kenner, Metairie, New Orleans or the Westbank. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
