Are you interested in Swiss food? I can recommend a few places for that:
Fondue: Restaurant Le Dézaley www.le-dezaley.ch it's the best fondue in Zurich
Rösti (traditional Swiss-style hash browns): Rheinfelder Bierhaus, Marktgasse 19, there's a bigger Rheinfelder Bierhalle that's more touristy, but the Bierhaus, further down in the Niederdorf area, is small. The waiter will recognize you immediately as a non-Zürcher and recommend something.
Sausage: Zeughauskeller. This is one of the most famous restaurants in Zurich. Lots of tourists but also locals. They have about 100 different types of sausages from every corner of Switzerland.
