Spokane Climberdoc question
Hey Climberdoc,
You seem to know good food. What are your favorite restaurants in Spokane? I don't care about price or type of cuisine, I just want to find some good food in this town!
dog friendly restaurant patios in Spokane, Wa
Perhaps try calling Sante. They have an outdoor patio and might permit you to secure your dog directly on the sidewalk side of the patio--then it wouldn't technically be in the food service area. Madeline also has an outdoor patio downtown but is not open at all on Sunday and not for dinner on Monday-Wednesday. I've seen people leash their dogs to the outside of the patio at O'Doherty's Irish Grille. Not a fine dining establishment, but pleasant view of the park.
Spokane - Salty Food?
I'm new to Spokane and am just starting to sample the local restaurants. One thing I've noticed: food seems to be very heavily salted here.
I've tried Sante for breakfast (twice) and dinner and each time I would have said the food was quite good if it weren't for the excessive salt. (I know cured meat is inherently salty, but it isn't supposed to burn the inside of your mouth.)
Ditto Mizuna and a number of other restaurants-salty.
Is it just me? Or do chefs/cooks here heavily salt their food? Is it a northwest thing, over-salting?
