We decided to eat here for our disney experience as the pirates of the caribeean view was so fun for the kids...I had the monte cristo very yummy but a bit greasy. We also tried the jambalaya which was good too. Outside of this we went for Disney's Dole Whips twice, those are a tasty little treat! yummy!

In-n-out...glad we went; now we have been but honestly we found it salty and only ok. When I compared it to a recent night at five guys burgers and fries it was not nearly as good. I am glad we went though!

Self cleaning oven: racks in or out?
They will not slide as nice afterwards. I have foind the best thing is stick thme in a garbage bag overnight, sealed with a small dish of ammonia, they clean up beautifully after that.
good eats in the vicinity of Hollywood & Highland Center...

Wow that sounds great...what is guancile? Love squash blssoms and chicken livers....I used to live in Pariswhere I was introduced to them ...we would pan fry them and add to a fresh mix of lettuce greens with endive , a light drizzle of red wine vinegar and some olive oil, a quick grind of salt and fresh pepper...mmmmmmmmm
5 Guys Burgers in Calgary?
Thought I would jump in here...WE are in the Hat and went last night with our kids. Tasty indeed, but not perfect. the eats were yummy but a littel dear, two adults and three kids was $50 which to me is a little dear for burgers and fries. they ran out of pickles which I am not sure how you do when you are across the street from two grocery stores....
It is super noisy, it was completely full but to that the stereo was added at a high volume.
The tables are really close together, some schairs you almost needed a shoe horn to get into as the chair behind was so close. the bathrooms were much the same only one sopt to stand in to get the door open ang get out...think rv bathroom.
We did enjoy the food though; tried not to think about the fat and sodium which I cna only imagine to be through the roof. I had a junior burger , bacon cheese, lettuce, fried onions, mushrooms. I think that was it they call it "the lot?"....next time I would skip the mushrooms and have raw onions. My husband had jalapenos I would have that next time too, I snuck one of his and they were tasty on the burger. Cajun Fries were a nice seasoning. Fries are definatley fresh cut so nut crispy liek a precooked /twicecooked frie.
Would I make a road trip for this? Not in a heartbeat, definatley worth visting but driving 5 1/2 hours round trip for never. Just not that much better than burgers I have had elsewhere.

I would never dream of entering that debate ; just not enough pizza knowledge. I have had good pizza in the east and good pizza in the west all good all different.

We will be in the area (tourists) three kids in tow. But anticipate being there either on a Sunday or on President's day. Any must have eats that are walking distance to this? Pass on the sushi though the kids do not love it enough. This would be at Lunch time.
Thanks
