I'm coming home from LA to visit my sister in Rhinebeck this week, and I'm a vegetarian. Since I was raised in Fishkill, I don't know her hood at all. Can you guys give me any suggestions for vegetarian/vegan places? Thanks a lot!

Amym's--I feel you on eating deli. I'm a vegan, so this is not stuff I even eat! They dig it, though, so that's what counts.

My sister-in-law is coming home from a hip replacement, and I want to get some good deli delivered to her in Long Beach. Don't know the area at all--I've transplanted from NYC to LA--so I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

Do any of you know of vegan bakeries in Glendale/Burbank/Pasadena/Eagle Rock? I searched but could not find. Valley is fine, too. I just don't want to schlep to the West side.
