Cheap/moderate restaurants near Park Slope?

I'm planning to spend about $75, but it doesn't have to cover the entire cost of the meal. I think the closest subway station to him is 9th St.

Cheap/moderate restaurants near Park Slope?

I'm looking to get a restaurant gift certificate for my brother, who recently moved from San Francisco to Park Slope. I'm in California, and have only been to Manhattan, so I could use some local help! Inexpensive to moderate would be best -- no real preference for food type or ethnicity, he's turning 26 and will eat almost anything, but likes kind of new/hip places. Thanks!

Red Dawn cocktail at Range

I'm new to the board, so hello! I'm trying to solve a cocktail mystery. I live in San Diego and approx 2 - 2 1/2 years ago I was visiting in SF and we went to Range, where I had a cocktail I think was called a Red Dawn. I remember it involved Red Lillet, but I can't remember what else was in it. When I went to Range again maybe about a year ago, they no longer had it and the bartender hadn't heard of it. Does anyone else remember this cocktail and if so, do you know what else was in it? I loved it and would like to try to recreate it if possible.

ISO-seafood place in San Diego that Guy Fieri went to?

So I went to Blue Water yesterday. I didn't have trouble parking and it was fairly quiet -- maybe the weather was keeping it so. I thought it was very good, but I find it difficult to compare to PLSF, since the two places seem very different to me. I would definitely go to Blue Water if I'm craving grilled fish in sandwich, salad or taco form, but when my fried shrimp craving hits, only PLSF will do, plus they have the only coleslaw that I have ever liked. I think I prefer the atmosphere there too, oddly enough. Plus there's always Shelter Island!

ISO-seafood place in San Diego that Guy Fieri went to?

I will go to Pt Loma Seafood when I have a lot of time, get my food to go and drive out to Shelter Island to eat. It's usually pretty nice out there and has good views of downtown and Pt Loma. My grandparents lived in Pt Loma when I was a kid and we used to do that all the time, so it has special memories for me. I've never been to Blue Water, but after reading this thread, I'm dying to go. Do they have indoor seating, or do I have to wait for the rain to go away?
