This is great, thank you all so much! I sort of figured that my neighborhood wouldn't have a TON of places I was describing but these suggestions are just great! Much closer to what I like than what I have been seeing elsewhere! I can't wait to try them :)

Hey everyone! I am just not sure where to begin! I moved from NYC and am used to reasonably priced wine bars, and small funky restaurants with an intimate vibe.. you know, the kind of place where you feel like you're in someones house or something. I have looked on tons of review sites to find comparable places but everything I have found looks really expensive! (I moved here to SAVE money, sheesh!) I would love some advice on some non-chain-restaurant places to try out! We like literally every kind of food from american to thai to ethiopian middle eastern bla bla bla, I don't care as long as it is well done! Can anyone help me out?
