Thanks guys. I forgot how much lamb they eat in the Middle East. ;) I'll be going to Balboa Market in a couple days, and I'll confirm the shoulder.

I've completely stopped buying any meat from North Park Produce, as its never high quality, and is usually a day away from spoiling. I'll still get veggies and fruit though.

Does anybody know where to get lamb shoulder in San Diego? I live in the North Park area. Iowa Meat farms doesn't have it, nor does Whole foods - of course its not at Ralphs or Vons. Everybody has leg, and it just isn't as good for soups.
