Yep, wonderful bagels - and we picked up an almond croissant to see if he is a baker too, and they are wonderful - great croissant texture, and just perfect almond filling. Our son loved the jalapeno bialy - this place is great. The bagels definitely have the right texture and Roland is so nice.

I wrote the LCI headquarters a nice letter asking what happened....didn't even recieve a reply. We werent looking for a comp - I did hope that the disengaged manager would be spoken to by the higher-ups. Doesn't make us want to go back.......

Anything dog-friendly near Lakeville, CT?
NO dog friendly places, it's not allowed in CT. Wonderful food at The Woodlands by Hotchkiss. And when the dining room is open at the Lake Robin Inn, it can be spot on - eclectic menu.
good eats in Montana - Kalispell or Whitefish
Capers, and North Bay Grille, in Kalispell. Jag's for steak and prime rib, just down from the airport. Mama Bianca's, and Vivo Italiano (name may have changed) in Whitefish. There's a super store for provisions (very little prepared food) but super cheese case (vaccia rosa parmiggano, Pt. Reyes Blue) and they have Kobe beef - Gresko's which is over by Wal-Mart, on the main street in Kalispell. It's slowly getting better.
Good Onglett Steak (Hanger Steak)butcher?
We had great Onglett steaks from Cafe Rouge butcher in Berkeley - does anyone know where we can get this cut (a.k.a. Hanger Steak) in Marin or San Francisco? We may ask Bryan's to special order it, which may not be all that practical....any suggestions?

WE only go Monday nights for meatball Monday - meatballs are super - otherwise, since we've had a few dinners that were OK but not stellar, well....that's our favorite night.
