For something more casual, but authentic, I recomend Kazbar or Efendy, both located in Balmain. Efendy is particularly more authentic Turkish and has a great breakfast on offer.
Ottoman's in my view is over priced and lacking in quality. For fine dining, its service leaves much to be desired. It is obvious upmarket Turkish, which, in my opinion is not executed well.
