Pork Chop
Visiting NYC (from Chicago) next weekend and looking for some recommendations for a birthday dinner on Sunday for my husband. He loves pork (pork chops in particular). Are there any restaurants that are similar in price point and and similarly meat-centric to Girl and the Goat, Publican, Gilt Bar, The Purple Pig in Chicago? Greatly appreciate any input!
Restaurant decisions for dinner on a Friday and a Saturday
My husband and I will be visiting Montreal for the first time next week. Our hotel concierge was able to get us a reservation at Au Pied de Cochon at 5 pm on Friday and at Garde Manger at 6:30 pm sitting at the bar on Saturday. He said that he could get us better seating times at Le Club Chasse et Peche and at La Salle a Manger. Would love to know what the locals would recommend for dinner on these two nights. Through Opentable, I also have dinners booked at DNA and at Joe Beef to play it safe. Break down below. Would greatly appreciate any advice!
Friday options
Au Pied de Cochon at 5 pm
DNA at 6:30 pm
Le Club Chasse et Peche (time tbd)

Special dinner in Rome/Florence for 1st Anniversary and husband's birthday
Jeffrey...is Lo Scarpone expensive? My husband and I are going to Italy for part of our honeymoon in four weeks and the restaurant and subsequent walk down to Trastevere from Garibaldi sounds perfect for us. Would love to go there if the restaurant is moderately priced. Thanks!
Weekend Itinerary (Researched)
You've gotten some great recommendations so far. I love going to brunch with friends and highly recommend going to Jam on Friday, m.henry on Saturday, and Hearty on Sunday.
Fine(r) dining with kids in Chicago?
I work in downtown Chicago and eat out often. Three favorite mid-priced Italian restaurants that I recommend are Cibo Matto (at the Wit Hotel), Coco Pazzo (near the Merchandise Mart), and Prosecco (in River North).
