A Cote, Oakland, for the wood-fire roasted mussels. Tacqueria San Jose, Oakland, for tacos al pastor. Koi Palace, in Daly City, for spectacular dim sum and especially xlb's. My mom's house, for chicken soup, sweet and sour chicken and meatballs, and chopped liver.
