A Cote, Oakland, for the wood-fire roasted mussels. Tacqueria San Jose, Oakland, for tacos al pastor; The Whaling Station in Monterey for a Prime Rib-eye steak, medium rare; Tribu in S. San Francisco, for grilled pork, fried pork, and maybe some sauteed pork. Koi Palace, in Daly City, for spectacular dim sum and especially xlb's.
