Thick and Sticky Barbecue Sauce

I grew up in Kansas, not far from Gates, Arthur Bryants, Wyandotte, Zarda, and countless mom & pop bbq restaurants. I enjoy all the bbq sauces because they are unique to that restaurant. When I moved away and tried other restaurants it was of course not the same. I realized then its what I grew up with and enjoyed. Its sort of like being brain washed, if I had grown up in Hammond,LA, HI-HO would be the place. However, since I did not, the bbq there is \\ like sloppy joes and very tasteless. Gotta love KC
