Is there ANY decent food in/near Galloway?
Skelly's Hi Point Pub in Absecon, NJ on Route 30/White Horse Pike is very good. They have a wide variety to pick from and good food and nice prices. We try to stop on our way to AC everytime we can get down there. Give it a try.
Open Faced CheeseSteak Sandwich
I am craving an open faced cheesesteak sandwich on Garlic points,Garlic toast. I had the same some time ago (I thought from the 101 Pub , Bogota, NJ)...If so, I was there Friday and it was a big disappointment, no garlic toast and no flavor.
Can someone recommend a place for this in Bergen County, NJ...hopefully closer to the East Rutherford/Hackensack area.

We used to love to go to this restaurant. Due to the supposedly makeover by Gordon Ramsey, the food lacks taste, the owner that was there that night lacked taste and the portions were very small. Never again. Too bad Annette, we will miss you.

40th Birthday Dinner (Surprise) Recommendations in Hoboken/Jersey City
Renato's in Jersey City is very good for a party. They are connected to Pizza Master but the private entrance is around the corner on Cambridge Avenue. They have a private room downstairs and it is very nice and the food is excellent.

Thank you phelana...I totally agree, last year we ate at the kiosk with Peruvian food, very very good. This year we definitely want to try the Hamburger Kiosk.

Can I get some great recommendations for restaurants outside of the San Juan area for dinner. My husband and I would like to drive around the Island and eat where the locals go. Both casual and upscale would be greatly appreciated.

Try Mi Casita, which is a small strip mall across the street from the El San Juan.
Great breakfast and dinner and reasonable prices.
Food at New Meadowlands Stadium
The Grasshopper in Carlstadt, NJ would be a good sitdown dinner restaurant and close to the stadium. Good food.

Does anyone have recommendations for Soft Shell Crabs in Bergen County New Jersey? The best place for them used to be the River Barge Cafe in Carlstadt, NJ but they have been long gone.
