Profile
Best meal I ever ate:
a picnic dinner of broiled wild salmon, sauteed morels, salad, and saute of cauliflower, garlic, onions, butter and greens.
My current drink of choice:
good cocoa or anything with limes
I really wish I could:
appear suddenly in whatever part of the world/country houses the food I'm craving, and eat it. Oh, and being able to fly would be nice.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Simple sauté, salad, or stew of whatever's local and delicious. Sometimes a summer pie.
My favorite comfort food:
bagel with cream cheese, whitefish and nova
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Nishino, Carmelita, Maneki, Tilth, Café Presse
My most tattered cookbooks:
my grandmother's phone number, my mother's phone number, mastering the art of french cooking, and tom douglas's book
