Has anyone tried Bleeker Street in Tarzana?
This restaurant was pretty good. It's not particularly cheap, but I enjoyed their pizza. There was one with figs that I really enjoyed. Overall I'd say it was worth it, although a bit heavy on the salt. Solid wine list as well.

Cambodian Sandwiches...Where can I get 'em?
I was living in NYC for a while and fell in love with a Cambodian place called Kampuchea. They had AMAZING sandwiches on baguettes with a variety of fillings (oxtail, headcheese, shrimp, coconut sauces). Now I'm back in LA and craving some of those sandwiches. Can anyone think of a place I can go to serve my craving?
Babycakes of NYC opened - Downtown Los Angeles Today
I used to live in New York and had Babycakes a few times with my celiac girlfriend. I have to say that of all the diet/speciality baked goods that I've tried (I've tried a lot!) these have to be among the worst. The textures are pretty bad and the items just don't taste right. At some point, taking out/replacing too many normal ingredients just doesn't work.
