Afgan restaurant in Manhattan....
I have not been in the neighborhood for a few years but a short walk from times square in the area between 8th and 9th Avenue in the 50's there are several Afghan restaurants "Afghan Kabob House" on 9th Ave between 50/51st on east side of the street was a frequent Friday night dinner spot for me - then there was Kabul higher up off 9th ave in the mid 50's - best lamb shank ever as per my hubby.
