I'll be daytripping down to the Biosphere this weekend. Going from Gilbert and taking the back way down there. Any good restaurant recommendations?

I found this review of Four Seasons here: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/678909 and passed it along to a sushi-loving friend of mine. He's been several times and says that it's very good.
Gilbert to Lake Havasu - good eats along the way?
I'll be taking a road trip in a couple of weeks - a friend of mine wants to see the London Bridge so we're going to daytrip up there. Are there any cool little restaurants that we can check out along the way?
Restaurant Closings
Just thought I'd pass along what I read in the paper this morning. Efes in Tempe and Havana Cafe's Ahwatukee location are closing (or possibly already closed).
Huauchinango Mexican Grill (Scottsdale, AZ)
This place looks interesting and I'd like it to try it out, but considering my recent Kebab Palace fiasco, I thought I'd ask here first and see if anyone has been recently. I just want to make sure it's still open and still serving the same type of food!
Kabab Palace (Tempe)
I've been looking forward to trying out Kabab Palace after reading reviews here and other places online about it - I was especially interested in trying out the kaddo. I finally made it there last night only to find that the restaurant has changed hands and no longer serves Afghan food. It is Indian food, only.
I just thought I'd let everyone know, since Kabab Palace has come up several times on this board.
