Graham cracker ideas needed!!

Thinking of doing a deconstructed cheesecake and need help coming up with a crumbly graham cracker topping I can sprinkle on top as a finish. I want something that will maintain it's crunchiness with a layer of blueberry sauce. I was thinking of just doing the usual by pre baking the crust part with butter and sugar then crumble that up? Any other good ideas you guys can think of?!? Thanks!

Another SUSHI question

We ALWAYS go to sushi shibicho in costa mesa since I was young. The problem is, it's too far!! Especially since the family might have to drive 3 seperate cars. Just wanted to ask everyone where you would take your family for the best sushi in LA? Dad is visiting from japan. No rolls, want fresh wasabi. Authentic! Thanks!!

A16 or Delfina?!?

Will be in SF for 2 nights and can't decide between delfina and A16... feel like both 2 nights in a row will be too much Italian so got to choose just one. Leaning more towards A16 because they have both pasta and pizza. I know delfina has a pizzeria also but no pasta there. See, if delfina had both it would be a winner. Please help me choose!!

The next day will be Ferry building and biking so no dinner plans but any recs are appreciated! I'm all about fine dining but maybe not so much my parents so somewhere in between?

BEST Vietnamese food in Garden Grove/Little Saigon?

thanks. True, there are certain specialties. I like pho and bun cha, cha gio and broken rice. They don't need to be all in one restaurant but if it is, great! I also would like to know the great whole in the walls as well as the more fancier ones. Thanks foe your help

my homemade pizza sauce is too TART

I made a simple sauce by slowly simmering roma tomatoes and at the very end added olive oil infused with garlic. I've added salt to taste but I still think it's way too tart. It was a success the other time I made this but maybe it's the tomatoes?
Can you guys help me figure out a way to balance out the flavor?
thanks!

I have MANY questions-squash blossoms, ricotta......

First Q...I had a squash blossom pizza with burrata at a pizzeria in LA & want to try and recreate it at home. My question is can I just throw the blossom on top and bake in the oven, or do I need to saute it a little then throw on to pizza and bake.

Next Q...I bought a huuuge tub of ricotta and fresh mozzarella. I know I can't use it all up for my Italian theme dinner party so my question is, how long will they keep in the fridge? Is it at all possible to freeze them?

and lastly..how do YOU like to serve your burrata cheese?

THANKS ALL!

BIG bag of PIZZA DOUGH

I'm thinking of buying couple bags of pizza dough from an Italian Deli for my pizza party. I bought a bag before and left it out at room temp for a few hours before stretching it out. I had trouble forming a nice circle and was wondering what I can do to handle it better? Should I form them into balls when it reaches room temperature and place a towel on top for ten minutes or in a bag with a little olive oil?
Anyone have tips on handling store bought fresh pizza dough??

Does Bay Cities Italian Deli have fresh pizza dough?

Does Bay Cities Italian Deli have fresh pizza dough?

If so, is it any good?? Need some good ingredients for my home made pizza day coming up and thought bay cities might have pretty good ingredients. If they have pizza dough, it will be even better. I do live near Pasadena so I can also go to Claro's, but I have gotten their dough before and thought I'd try something new.
I'm thinking of going to Surfas also so maybe they have some there too.

If anyone else has recommendations for good fresh pizza dough and how to handle them (should I cut them and roll them into balls, lay out to room temp. etc etc) please let me know.
Thanks all!

Another BREADPUDDING question

I'm going to make bread pudding! http://www.thepioneerwomancooks.com/2...

I will be using this exact recipe using one pie dish. For the second making, I also want to use the same exact recipe but instead of using the pie dish I want to make individual ones using a muffin pan. If I were to use a muffin pan, will the baking time be the same or shorter? If you have other tips on baking breadpudding in muffin pans please let me know! thanks!!
