Do you eat, and enjoy, your steak rare? Thank you so much. I as well am in DFW, what is the dealer over in Fort Worth? I will make a stop by there when I go for May Fest? |

Look up meat purveyors in Dallas. I used to get Caul Fat to make my terrines with. I would buy a few pounds and freeze the rest for later use. It was not hard to get. |

I cook a lot with my campfire dutch ovens and have never had a problem of too much steam getting out of the oven. These things are great! I would venture that the raised edges are to keep moisture out of the oven to prevent rust when they are stored with the lids on. Just having that simple gap would let any moisture evaporate out keeping it dry. |

I have been able to get my Large BGE to smoke at 220 for over 30 hours without touching it! Put a couple of hardwood chunks in there with the lump charcoal and you are good to go. This is definately the best smoker that I have ever owned. It will sear your steaks at a temperature that you just can't get on any other type of grill as well. |

Babe's Roanoke worth the drive? Both the Carrollton and Roanoke locations offer a great atmosphere with all of the decorations and such. I prefer the food at the Roanoke location, but both are good. |

DFW - Salvadoran Restaurants - DFW Mama Tia pupasas is pretty bare bones but the pupusas are really good. I always stop in and get a couple when in the area. |

85 cents per inch. I had taken a couple of my big knives there that had suffered some abuse and he fixed them without removing too much metal. |

I went in there a couple of years ago and was disappointed. Originally I was excited with the prospect of another good ethnic market where you could find unusual items such as a whole cabrito, but it was all frozen and not so appealing. |

The aquarium was really good. I did not get to venture too much farther since I did not have a car. I ate there 3 times and always had a great meal. |

Dallas will get there own Board...YeeHaaw No Joke! I myself would love to participate in any type of group who would like to visit restaurants, festivals, or even get together and cook, share stories, and just have a great time with all that is food. Its too bad that the Dallas group isn't as active. What a great idea to organize a throwdown! |

Where to buy a Kaffir Lime plant? I have always found them frozen at the big Asian supermarket on Josey just north of 161. I usually buy a bunch and keep them in my freezer. |
