Homemade Marshmallows
I am becoming a huge fan of tasty well made marshmallows...no more bag marshmallows for me. Currently my favorite marshmallow candy is See's chocolate covered marshmallow with carmel. I have been thinking about making homemade marshmallow, and my friend adivsed me against it..to much of a hassel, and she told me I would never get my saucepan clean after making the candy in it. Has anyone else had these experinces?? Any advice.. is it worth it or should I should I ban the effort?

Favorite meat filled Ravioli Recipe-old school
Just finished a great book about family, cooking and raviolis, called the The Lost Ravioli Recipes of Hoboken. In the book the author tracks downs her own "family" recipe and several others, and it got me thinking what is your family recipe for ravioli??? For me, my nana just listed the ingredients in an old cookbook, and no amounts... so I'm on my own, searching for similar recipe. Mine, beef, pork spinach, onion, garlic...how about yours???

Food Network: Enough with the Challenges!!!
I am still hoping (and I don't know why) that FN will wise up and get rid of those horrid "challenge" shows at night and put on "regular" programing....you know, COOKING SHOWS, I mean...isn't that why most of us watch FN??? Plus, I think they would do a world more good to people that work during the day and really could use some of the info their shows provide. ...
