Where to buy turkey breast, thighs in South OC?
A few years ago, I bought a lot of turkey parts at Gelson's in Newport.

It's worth noting that Caffe Carpe Diem now has an $11000 Clover machine. I think it's the first to get one installed in San Diego (Calabria bought one but never installed it probably because Starbucks took over Clover). But honestly I was disappointed in it. I don't like the beans that Carpe Diem uses. The Clover machine can't save mediocre beans. The Clover coffee I had at Carpe Diem was very acidic.
I think Calabria produces the best coffee and lattes in San Diego on a consistent basis. It's one of the few places in SD you can consistently get latte art. But their main prob is that they close quite early (3pm).
Twigg's can be quite good, but I think they can be inconsistent. They are usually quite good at producing nice foam, but I've had a few incredibly bitter espressos there. Looking forward to checking out the new location.
Curry in San Diego-Help Needed
I like Bombay also. If they're friends from out of town, you might also want to consider Monsoon in the Gaslamp. I believe it's the same owners as Bombay. I found the food comparable, but the service slow (might have due to its being new though). But if they'd like to wander around the Gaslamp, Monsoon might be a good choice.
