ok... back from freezing Key West. Sunday breakfast: Blue Heaven: We had the avocado omelet with an incredible beans-ginger sauce, the shrimp omelet which was also nice, a special breakfast with the usual suspects: eggs, pancakes, sausage, etc. All our plates were delicious.
Thanks for the note on The Inn, will keep it in mind when in Va. Sorry about your experience at Sea Salt. We had new year's breakfast at Jane's: good breakfast, not so good coffee, need better menu design. When in D.C., don't miss Bombay Club... we loved it.
Thanks! We went to The Bay House. Although they did not have any new year's eve celebration, the food was good. My wife ordered their aged steak, I expected it a little softer, besides that it had a good flavor. I had the grouper... sorry mother nature... it was good.
Hello fellow Chowhounders! My wife and I are spending New Year's in Naples. I'm looking for a restaurant to have dinner and celebrate 2010. We'd rather go to a locally owned restaurant than a chain. Any ideas? Not too expensive, please no $200 per adult place... not this year. Thanks!
