I am getting a rare treat, 4 days in vegas without the kids.... I recently moved from So Cal to Western Minn, no good restaurants in our tiny area.... I would love to dine at some good places and esp Sushi.....We are staying at Rio, I know they have that buffet, but thats quanity not necessarily quality. I like most foods, esp Japanese. Thanks !!!!!

Dairy Queen, thank you....I have read your posts and they are very informative. I am taking notes when we travel to the Twin Cities....And I relocated from So Cal...I am not sure the difference thru out the state, but so cal did have some good sushi. Trader Joes and Byerleys was even mentioned, to help my craving...

Can anyone compare any of these places, or any other places with Calif sushi ? I just moved here and am really missing sushi. I am 3 hrs from mpls so when I can, I will try for sushi there or in st paul. Tried a place in Fargo, eh... not good....
I am in a wasteland for fine dining or good restaurants, so will have to look forward to the 3 hr drives to msp/st paul. I am 70 min east of Fargo .....thanks !

We are going to mpls jan 16 for target center show.... and i hope some shopping...looking for good restaurant to take kids that weekend..near targ center....any ideas ?? thanks sooo much !

Thank you both....we will probably spend some time in Fargo, shopping there is better so we can explore that area.... I have found a couple of somewhat decent fare in Alexandria...thats 45 min south of us... Hoping Fergus keeps trying and I hear this area gets better in the summer...lots of lakes and some restaurants open back up for the season....again, thank you ~!!!!

New to area, will be going to target center on sunday to see sesame street...1pm show.
Need restaurant for 4 adults 2 teens and 2 YR OLD TWINS !!!! Factoring in the cold...and patience time for the kids, then driving 3 hrs home to Fergus Falls area.
Any food except maybe Indian will do. My favorite is sushi ( just moved to this area from So Cal, missing sushi and good restaurants) but have to accomodate the family.

Thank you for help, just moved here from So Cal ( 3 months ago ), I am actually 3 hrs from Twin Cities, but visit 1x a month.... not much out this way. near Fergus Falls.

Just moved to Central West Minnesota ( near Fergus Falls), besides cold, isolation, no shopping, I am hungry ! Any help in locating decent restaurants ??? I am tired of my cooking ! Tried Fargo for Sushi... hhhhmmm , will try Twin Cities.
I am at a very distinct disadvantage, Moved from So Cal. I realize I cannot begin to compare dining to the two, but would be satisfied finding a few decent restaurants. I miss sushi, any asian, and mexican food.
