Jaknny, can you share your experiences with them? And is this the one based out of NJ?

Kosher Caterers--NY/NJ/PA--Modern with a twist?

There are actually 2 different caterers--Celebrations by Mauzone (who we've used and really liked) and Celebrations Kosher Catering, based out of Lake Hiawatha, NJ.

Have you used them for catering? We put a call out to them but never heard back.

Kosher Caterers--NY/NJ/PA--Modern with a twist?

Thanks so much! Some of those are on our list as well. Lederman sounds great but I'm not sure they'll shlep all the way down to where we'd need them to in NJ.

Kosher Caterers--NY/NJ/PA--Modern with a twist?

We're planning for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah and are looking for caterers in the NY/NJ/PA area who are willing to do something different and FUN with a modern presentation. Glatt is a must as is a willingness to do a number of different stations for variety, as opposed to a sit down meal. Would love a caterer who is open to a variety of ethnic food stations! Any ideas would be much appreciated (not Prestige or Main Event although we've been to lovely affairs catered by them in the past). Thanks!

Good restaurants that deliver in Arlington?

I'm looking for good restaurants that deliver in Arlington. Specifically, American and/or Italian would probably be the best bets. Any suggestions? Specific dishes would be welcomed too! Thanks so much!

Restaurant Week 2013 for vegetarians?

Thanks, I actually checked out Craftbar and Locanda Verde. The LV menu sounds good but we wouldn't be able to get anything for the 3rd course, unfortunately, since 2 out of the 4 of us don't eat fish. We'd have to see if they'd let us choose two from one of the other courses, I guess. But that menu does look good. Thanks for the advice!

Restaurant Week 2013 for vegetarians?

What are your suggestions for this year's Restaurant Week if I'm a vegetarian? I did see a few things here and there--mac and cheese and greens at Red Rooster, for example, but am curious if anyone has any other ideas. Thanks!

Jersey City area for dinner

Thanks for the recs! We actually went to Skinner's Loft and it was perfect for what we were looking down. But we'll keep the others in mind for the future.

Jersey City area for dinner

We're headed to Liberty State Park to catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island and figure we'd like to grab a good dinner when we get back to NJ. We'll have our 2 kids with us--ages 13 and 10--who are fairly adventurous diners and little foodies but we'd need vegetarian options too. Any good ideas for dinner around that area? We're not tied to Jersey City--anything in that area would be good. Thanks!

Dinner near The Little Shubert Theatre

Thanks! We've done Marseille for brunch and thought it was delicious. Have been wanting to try DB Bistro Moderne. Maybe we'll give that a shot.

Dinner near The Little Shubert Theatre

We're headed to "Potted Potter" with the kids this week and are trying to decide where to eat near The Little Shubert Theatre. Our kids are fairly adventurous diners and well-behaved and we're not interested in chain restaurants. Anything that has vegetarian options would be great. We were looking at Ca Va, particularly because of Restaurant Week but any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Montclair--good place to take the kids?

We actually did end up going to Ah'Pizz and liked it! Each of us got a different pizza and we were all happy with them. I will say that the crust was a little softer than I usually like or prefer but the taste of the crust was great. We passed Salute on our way and thought we'd like to try them too. Thanks!

Montclair--good place to take the kids?

Looking for a good place for a family dinner with our two kids, ages 10 and 13. They can be fairly adventurous eaters but we'd need some place with vegetarian options and not too fancy. We were thinking Ah'Pizz but are open to other suggestions. Thanks!

suggestions in the bridgewater area?

Looking for somewhere interesting for dinner in the Bridgewater area. We've already been to Origin Thai, Thai Kitchen, and a few others along Main Street in Somerville. Any ideas? Ethnic is okay as long as there are some vegetarian options. Would also be willing to travel around that general vicinity. Thanks!

Franco's Italian Kitchen - Hidden Gem

Is the place casual enough to bring kids? Not babies, but older kids--7 & 11.
